Responsibilities
| Simona supports the private equity team on various types of transactions in Romania. She is focused on portfolio management, financial modeling, and due diligence, conducting detailed research on investment opportunities, analyzing financial data and evaluating risks. She also assists Highlander’s portfolio companies in achieving strategic initiatives and she performs day-to-day activities in the private equity transaction process.
Experience
| Prior to joining Highlander, Simona served as a CFO of a Romanian fintech for 2 and a half years, focusing on financial, commercial, and regulatory aspects of the business in a dynamic and digitalized environment. During 2016-2022, Simona spent six years working with Deloitte on financial and fiscal advisory projects with domestic and international companies. Her experience covers business valuation, financial modeling and analysis, fiscal consultancy, and transfer pricing.
Education
| Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Insurance, Banking and Stock Exchange; Master Degree in Financial Management and Investments within the Bucharest University of Economic Studies. Member of National Association of Authorized Appraisers in Romania since 2019.
