| JR focuses on sourcing, evaluating, and executing investment opportunities in the industrial space, as well as supporting portfolio company strategy and growth initiatives.
Experience
| Prior to joining Highlander, JR served as Senior Advisor to the Secretary of the U.S. Department of the Treasury, where he worked on strategic investment initiatives. He previously served as the inaugural Chief Investment Officer for the Department of Defense’s Office of Strategic Capital, leading efforts to scale private capital for national security priorities. JR’s background also includes leadership roles in private capital markets at Capstone Partners and entrepreneurial experience as co-founder of Trumbull Unmanned, recognized by Forbes and Entrepreneur for its innovation and commercial impact. Earlier in his career, JR was a fighter pilot in the U.S. Air Force.
